Our food is worth much more than just US Government Dollars, here's what else we will accept (note that we can only barter for subscriptions, not one-time meals.)

BREAD, the bay's alternative currency, is our favorite alternative economy...if you're not a member of the network, join! We accept BREAD at it's recommended dollar equivalent.

Your own garden: We love to cook with extremely local ingredients. If you have an organic garden, you can exchange your fresh, yummy fruit, vegetables or herbs for Food Chain meals. We'll trade at market rates.

Skills: we'll exchange meals for chiropractic, bike repair, and CGI-scripting. We prefer to do this through BREAD (see above) but we can also reach an individual arrangement.
